et un petit topo en anglais :
http://www.geocities.com/bhex_japan/inoran.htmThis elfin creature is Luna Sea's rhythm guitarist, Inoran (Ino, for short). He was also one of the two high school-age founders of Luna Sea, the other being Luna Sea's current bassist J.
In their high school days, he and J hung out together, sharing basically the same interests. Later, they decided to form Lunacy, the band which would start it all. The name "Lunacy," by the way, was changed to "Luna Sea," seeing as how all the members had a thing for both the moon and the sea. ^^
Ino claims that the nick "Inoran" was given to him by a friend from childhood. Another of his nicknames was "wolf-boy," because of his wild hair.
When Ino was much younger, he was encouraged to become an idol performer. Boy bands like SMAP and V6 were currently on the rise, and people thought Ino was "boy band material." ^_^
Well, he certainly has what it takes to be a gentle, soulful pretty boy. He likes cute things (actually collected Totoro keychains -- dunno if he still does ^^), he cooks, he's sweet with his girlfriend (could be married now, but there's been no official news regarding this), and in line with his character, his music comes across as sentimental, even at its darkest (think "Lastly").
It's hard to classify him as a typical rock artist, with most of his songs (i.e. "Gravity," "4 AM") being in actuality ballads. All the same, don't make the mistake of thinking this pretty face is incapable of gothic angst! My favorite dark LS songs, "Ray" and "No Pain" were both Inoran's brainchildren. So is the interesting amalgam called "Vampire's Talk."
He seems to like experimenting with different styles. Somewhat surprisingly, the hip hop theme prevails in his solo album Sou.
Offhand: Ino has extreme audience appeal, which is weird considering most of the time, he does nothing onstage but _stand there_. He doesn't even look up at the audience or the cameras often! Surrounding him is an atmosphere of shyness and tact, even when he is at his wildest. Makes one wonder exactly how he feels about performing onstage...
Ino's rhythm lines are deceptively easy to play and remember. But these same lines give the saddest LS songs the memorability they deserve.
