Hi/Salut!
I am a huge City Hunter Fan in the UK. But there is not much interest in it over here. It's good to see a forum for City Hunter Fans. My French is very bad, so please be patient.
Thanks
Chris

Hi
No problem.
Je suis Chris.
J'habite dans Newcastle Upon Tyne. C'est dans le nord du Angleterre. Is this ok french?
I'm 23 years old and work as a 3D artist, for PS2 and XBox games at the moment. I am currently modelling cars for a racing game by Midway.
I like anime, mangas, Kempo, Wing Tsun, TVRs, mini. I am very into cars.
I have been a hojo fan since I first saw the Jackie Chan Film: City Hunter. I then looked up City Hunter. But it is very difficult to get Hojo works in England. I must order my DVDs from the USA.
I'm not sure what I want to do. I may go into computers or somthing similar as a real job. I do plan to improve my French so I can post better though.:)

Hi!!!
Welcome here!!! :jump:

Hi Chris !
Welcome here ! :D
I just wanted to tell you that I perfectly understand what you mean when you say that it's hard to find some of Hojo's work in England.
I have lived for ten months in England last year ( in Leeds, West Yorkshire) and most of young people (I mean people of my age) that I met other there didn't even know what a manga was !
I tried everything, and I went to many bookshops, but as soon as I was asking for "mangas", people looked at me as if I was lunatic or if I was speeking russian with a chinese accent (I know that my English was - and is - far from being perfect, but this was not the point !!! )
So, even if I know that it must be hard and a bit frustrating for you, I am in a way reassured because now I know that I was not the only one who was desesperatly looking for Hojo's work ! At least we were 2 !!! :? :?
Well, I think it is time for me to accept that I am actually a chatterbox, because, basicly, all I wanted to say was : " WELCOME HERE " !
( Sorry for all the mistakes !!! )

Hi Chris !
I know that I was not the only one who was desesperatly looking for Hojo's work ! At least we were 2 !!! :? :?
Oh you can easily say 3   but finally I DID find a shop in Norwich ( after several months of research) That was a great moment of happiness and I must admitt of loneliness... I was the only customer in the shop
And welcome to you Chris! :D

One Problem is the CH Movies 1-5 has Englisch Language but not the Series
and there are still no one English language for the series (only Englisch Subtitles )
For Germany the news is Universum (Germany) has buy 20 Anime licenses from ADV ( ADV made CH on the US DVD) and now all German CH Fans special from www.cityhunter.de hopes CH is with it (please , please , please )
The first 4 Animes from ADV to Universum are : Evangelion, Final Fantasy, Full Metal Panic and Angelic Layer
PS : the biggest German City Hunter Forum :D
